We pulled into our new home
Friday 6/21 to start our gig working for Coastal Kayaking and Acadia Bike which allows us to live and play in Bar Harbor, ME for the next 4 months. YAH!
Saturday was exploration and get reacquainted day (we did spend a few weeks here 7 years ago). We drove to Bass Harbor Light house with a few scenic stops along the way. Discovered Southwest Harbor, bought our first loaf of bakery bread, and

of course ate our first lobster at Sawyer's Lobster Pound near the Seawall. The Lobsters did not disappoint!
Next stop was the local micro brewery - Atlantic Brewing Company - which we toured and were introduced to New Guy IPA.
Later, Ted raises one during Happy Hour at the Side Street Cafe in Bar Harbor.
And as a perfect finish to our first full day in Maine, we pulled into the campground parking lot to find a couple selling still warm blueberry pies from the back of their mini van - really they were sitting on the floor board of the mini van. The husband said selling his wife's pies was his 1988 brainchild.
